Mike Gildernick

Mike Gildernick breeds Percheron horses in De Pere, WI, in Brown County and the Fox Valley near Green Bay. He has been raising draft horses for over a decade and maintains active membership in the Percheron Horse Association while adhering to regular health screenings and farrier care. Foals are raised in a pasture-based environment with daily handling to encourage calm temperaments. Horses live on a small family farm where they share the barn with other livestock and receive grain mixes tailored to their growth needs.

Select bloodlines are chosen for strength and willingness, reflecting a long-standing commitment to reliable performance in both show rings and farm work. Several of their Percheron youngsters have progressed to competitive draft horse shows and therapeutic riding programs across Wisconsin. Each breeding pair is selected with temperament, strength and soundness in mind, ensuring consistency in foal quality over successive seasons.
