Michealla Flint

Michealla Flint raises Percheron horses in Highgate Center, VT, Franklin County and the Champlain Valley near Burlington. She has bred draft horses for more than 12 years and maintains membership in the United States Percheron Association. All breeding stock receives annual veterinary screenings, hoof care assessments and thorough conformation evaluations.

Flint’s Percherons pasture on rotating paddocks where varied forage supports muscle development and overall vitality. Foals are introduced to basic groundwork within weeks of birth, fostering steady temperaments and early social bonds. She selects breeding pairs for gentle disposition and structural soundness, and routine farrier visits keep hooves balanced for field work or light harness duties. Several horses have earned local draft horse pulling awards, reflecting a consistent focus on sound form and calm behavior. A covered barn aisle and well-drained gravel lanes support training in all seasons, ensuring horses remain sound and accustomed to varied footing.
