Michael Fisher

Michael Fisher, Percheron horses, Smock, PA, Fayette County and the Pittsburgh area. He has spent more than a decade developing a herd registered with the Percheron Horse Association and follows recommended veterinary health testing for hips, eyes and cardiac health. His breeding program is built around sound conformation and steady temperaments that reflect utility in farm work and carriage driving.

Horses are raised on natural grass pastures with daily handling from foaling onward to support early learning and gentle socialization. Foals are weaned gradually to reduce stress and prepare them for future training under saddle or harness. Michael draws on his family’s decades of farming experience to handle the horses with a calm confidence in both barn and field.
