Mhf carefully raises Percheron horses in Cadiz, OH, in eastern Ohio near Wheeling.

The operation was established over a decade ago and remains family run on rolling pastures with shaded paddocks. It follows recommendations from the American Percheron Horse Association and conducts annual veterinary screenings and gait evaluations to maintain sound breeding stock. Foals through mature horses enjoy open fields with access to a climate-controlled barn, daily turnout and foundational groundwork and desensitization sessions.

Morgan Knight values early socialization and balanced nutrition, collaborating with local farriers and trainers for each horse’s development and future performance. Several of the horses have earned regional show placings, reflecting a steady commitment to temperament and strength. Monthly veterinary visits and structured farrier care support consistent hoof health and overall well-being. The farm’s rolling grasslands provide a traditional backdrop that honors the breed’s draft heritage.
