Merle D. Chupp

Merle D. Chupp are purebred Percheron breeders in Etna Green, IN, in Kosciusko County and the Wabash Plain near Warsaw. They are members of the American Percheron Horse Association and follow recommended veterinary health screenings for both mares and foals. Their facilities include climate-controlled stalls and over fifty acres of rolling fields for free-range turnout. With more than twenty years of experience, they have developed a breeding program focused on sound conformation and gentle dispositions.

Their horses are raised on pasture and receive daily handling to promote early socialization. Waterways and shaded runs are accessible year-round to encourage natural movement and muscle development. Foals participate in light groundwork as they grow, and mature Percherons often join therapy riding and pulling demonstrations in local events. The family-run operation reflects a commitment to traditional husbandry and ongoing care throughout each horse’s life.
