Marvin Fisher

Marvin Fisher, Percheron horses, Burton, OH, in Northeast Ohio near Cleveland, raises sturdy draft horses on his family farm. He has been breeding Percheron horses for more than fifteen years, holds membership in national draft horse associations, and follows recommended health screenings and equine genetic tests for each animal.

Horses live on rotational pastures with access to open shelters and receive individually tailored nutrition plans approved by a local equine veterinarian. Foals begin daily handling from a few days old, learning basic grooming and leading exercises designed to build confidence in a calm environment. Monthly open days allow visitors to observe training sessions, ask questions about responsible husbandry, and tour the barn and paddocks in small groups.
