Mark A. Hochstetler

Mark A. Hochstetler, Percheron, Burlington, MI, southwestern Michigan near Kalamazoo. They have bred Percheron horses for more than two decades and follow a health program that includes regular veterinary exams, farrier visits, and nutritional planning. Their breeding animals are selected for sound conformation and a calm disposition. The farm’s century-old barn has been updated with modern ventilation and rubber stall mats to support clean, comfortable living conditions. Foals grow up in a herd environment before beginning basic groundwork under gentle guidance, and several of the farm’s Percherons have earned ribbons at local agricultural fairs reflecting steady temperament and solid draft ability.
