Manekineko

Manekineko has been breeding bengal cats on Spain's Costa Brava, in L'Escala (Girona), since 1998, making it one of the longer-established catteries of the breed in the country. The cattery is run by Myriam Ricard and operates under both TICA and WCF registration, with a voluntary code of ethics signed under each organization.

The program focuses on brown-spotted and rosetted bengals, a pattern preference the cattery has maintained since its earliest litters. Over the years, the breeding lines have accumulated a notable show record, including titles such as Best Kitten All Breed, Best of Breed, Best Adult of Breed, and TICA Third Best Bengal Alter of the Year, with two world champions among the cattery's cats.
