MacCauley Suffolks raises Suffolk sheep on a farm in Atglen, Pennsylvania, in the heart of Chester County, roughly an hour west of Philadelphia. William and Elizabeth MacCauley built the operation from roots that trace back to a 4-H project, and the flock has grown into what has been recognized as the largest Suffolk sheep breeding flock in North America, registering around 300 animals annually.

The program centers on producing what the MacCauleys describe as functional Suffolks with style. Selection criteria for both rams and ewes prioritize structural soundness, natural thickness, depth of rib, length of body, male fertility, and superior maternal ability. Brood ewes are kept on pasture alone from April through November, making easy-keeping a core requirement rather than an afterthought.

The flock's foundation traces back to the Lauden Acres genetics acquired in 1988, and show results across the country reflect that long-term investment in quality. MacCauley Suffolks has earned champion and supreme champion honors at the North American International Livestock Exposition, multiple state fairs, and regional slick-shorn shows over many years. The farm also raises a smaller Tunis flock held to the same performance standards as the Suffolks.
