Linda Rakow

Linda Rakow has been breeding and showing boxers in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin since 2008, operating under the Windsong Boxers and Chinese Cresteds name northwest of Milwaukee.

The program is built around a foundation of champion bloodlines, with an emphasis on producing boxers that meet the breed standard for health, temperament, and conformation. Windsong's foundation female, a finished AKC champion acquired from Avalon Kennels, became the cornerstone of the breeding program and has produced multiple American champions, a Mexican champion, and specialty show winners across her litters. Those results reflect a consistent focus on maintaining and improving breed qualities across generations rather than simply producing volume.

In 2016, Linda expanded the program to include Chinese cresteds, applying the same goals of health, temperament, and conformation to that breed as well. Health testing for the cresteds includes screening for patellar luxation, congenital heart disease, eye exams, and genetic marker testing for Progressive Retinal Atrophy and Primary Lens Luxation.
