Arktis Boxers
Arktis Boxers breeds European-style boxers in Petrolia, Pennsylvania, a small community in western PA roughly an hour north of Pittsburgh. Deena Fries has been involved with the breed for around 30 years, and the program focuses on producing boxers with stable temperaments suited to both dog sport and family life.
Health testing is completed on all dogs before breeding, with results posted on each dog's individual page. The dogs are fed a raw diet and receive only core vaccines. Puppies are raised entirely inside the home, follow the Puppy Culture protocol, and begin crate and potty training before they go home. Litters are kept small, with only a few produced each year.
The program also competes in IGP and other dog sports, reflecting an emphasis on working ability alongside sound structure. Puppies are left natural — tails and ears intact — in keeping with the European boxer standard the kennel favors.
