Lester Walther

Lester Walther breeds Percheron horses in Bismarck, ND in Burleigh County and the Missouri River valley near Mandan. He has been raising draft horses for more than fifteen years and holds membership in the American Percheron Horse Association.

All foals are raised on open pasture and receive daily handling from birth to encourage a calm disposition. Adult horses live in mixed herds with access to shelter and individual turnout paddocks. Each year he works with a local veterinarian on regular health evaluations, including structured hoof care, vaccination schedules and genetic testing for breed standards.
