Leroy A. Yoder

Leroy A. Yoder is a Percheron horse breeder in Waynesburg, KY, Lincoln County and the Bluegrass region near Lexington. He has been breeding Percheron horses for more than twenty years and holds membership in the Percheron Horse Association of America. All horses undergo regular health screenings for soundness and dental care and receive individualized attention from foaling through maturity.

Yoder’s breeding program follows a pasture-centered approach with balanced nutrition and daily handling to promote strong social bonds. Many of his Percherons have earned ribbons at regional state fairs and local light draft competitions. Colts and fillies are raised alongside older horses in a calm paddock environment to encourage proper development. The farm’s facilities include spacious barns and seasonal turnout pastures that allow free movement. Several of the current herd contribute to community heritage events and light-farm work around the region.
