Laurjosh Kennels

Laurjosh Kennels in Perry, New York breeds longhaired dachshunds — both miniature and standard — as well as American cocker spaniels. Kevin J. Payne has been breeding and showing purebred dogs under the Laurjosh name since 1992, with co-breeder Robert Hallead bringing an even longer background in the show ring to the partnership.

The kennel's emphasis on preservation breeding has produced more than 40 AKC champions across its history. Perry sits in Wyoming County in western New York, roughly an hour southeast of Buffalo, making Laurjosh a well-established source for dachshund puppies in upstate New York.
