Kayla Weber

Kayla Weber breeds Percheron horses in Geneseo, IL, in northwestern Illinois near Davenport. With more than a decade of experience, she follows American Percheron Horse Association guidelines, performs annual DNA and veterinary examinations and maintains APHA and United States Percheron Association memberships. Her approach centers on low-stress handling, introducing foals to halter breaking and grooming stalls from an early age.

The farm’s pastures are rotated seasonally to support healthy forage, and barns are cleaned daily to ensure comfort. Horses enjoy daily turnout, social contact with herd mates and access to heated shelters during cold months. Foals are raised alongside adult broodmares, receiving early groundwork lessons and positive reinforcement. Several of her young stock have placed in top ribbon classes at the Illinois State Fair, a testament to balanced conformation and steady disposition. Visitors often note the horses’ calm nature and the Weber family’s attentive care throughout each stage of development.
