Kayla Barenburg

Kayla Barenburg breeds Percheron horses in Wasilla, Alaska, in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley near Anchorage. Her program follows national registry guidelines and includes regular veterinary health screenings, joint evaluations and temperament assessments. Foals are raised on open summer pastures with daily handling, carefully socialized by family members and gradually introduced to groundwork. Drawing on years of hands-on experience, she maintains affiliations with regional draft horse associations and attends ongoing seminars on equine health. Several of her Percherons have placed in regional draft horse shows, a testament to her steady approach and long-term care.
