Kari Moulton

Kari Moulton, Shire horses, Tetonia, ID, is a small-scale breeder in the Teton Valley near Jackson. She has worked with Shire horses for over a decade and upholds standards for soundness and temperament through regular veterinary checkups and hoof care. All breeding animals are tested annually for equine infectious anemia and maintain up-to-date vaccinations. Her foals grow up on pasture with daily turnout, early human contact and gradual exposure to harness work.

All horses receive grain formulated for working breeds and live alongside other livestock for a varied environment. Several of her breeding stock have placed in regional draft trials and are known for calm dispositions suited to both farm chores and family trail riding. She participates in local draft horse associations and supports youth programs introducing children to large-animal care.
