In 2020, a Kaprikorn Podengo took Best of Breed at the Westminster Kennel Club show and closed the year ranked National #1 All Breed, #1 Breed, and #1 Grand Champion, with multiple group placements along the way. A puppy from that dog later won Best of Opposite at the Portuguese Podengo Pequeno national specialty to finish a championship.
