Judy Schumacher

Judy Schumacher, Percheron horses, Plainview, MN, Wabasha County and southeastern Minnesota near Rochester. She has been breeding Percheron horses for more than ten years and maintains membership in the Percheron Horse Association. Her stock is evaluated with regular veterinary wellness exams and conformation screening.

Foals under Judy and David Schumacher’s guidance are introduced to halter work early and enjoy daily turnout in mixed pastures, which helps them develop strong bone and muscle. Mares and stallions live in spacious barns with seasonal paddocks to encourage natural social behavior. The family-run farm encompasses rolling acreage with hay meadows and a nearby stream, allowing pasture rotation through the seasons. Several horses from the farm have placed at regional shows and are known for their steady dispositions in both driving and riding applications.
