John M. Reiff

John M. Reiff and David M. Reiff are dedicated Percheron breeders in Watsontown, PA, Northumberland County near Williamsport. They have been raising Percherons for more than 25 years and maintain active membership in the Percheron Horse Association of America.

All foals are raised alongside their dams on pasture and introduced to groundwork early to foster calm temperaments. The farm’s history stretches over three generations, and the family often shares updates and barn tours with local 4-H members. John and David place emphasis on temperament, noting that their draft horses excel in both light farm work and youth riding programs. Their facility includes on-site observation areas for daily routines, past foals and health records. Each yearling undergoes a comprehensive veterinary exam and participates in community parades to promote early exposure. They maintain small herd sizes to ensure personalized attention and early socialization with children and other livestock.
