Jeffry D. Pope, Percheron horses, Belle Fourche, SD, Western South Dakota near Rapid City. They have been breeding Percheron horses for more than a decade and hold membership in the Percheron Horse Association while ensuring all breeding stock undergoes routine veterinary assessments for soundness and temperament.

Their horses grow up in small family groups, with daily handling that promotes calm behavior and early social bonding. Pastures on rolling grasslands provide varied footing and seasonal shelter for conditioning year-round. The farm traces its roots to traditional ranching practices and emphasizes gentle conditioning for driving, riding, and light farm work. Several of their young stallions and mares have placed well at regional draft horse shows.

Each newborn foal undergoes early health screening and is introduced to a varied diet to support steady growth. Mature horses are evaluated in harness and offered with a complete veterinary report and a multigenerational pedigree.
