Jeff Hostetler

Jeff Hostetler, Percheron horses, Everton, MO, southwest Missouri and Springfield. He has been working with Percherons for over a decade and is a member of the Percheron Horse Association and a local draft horse registry. He prioritizes regular veterinary care, balanced nutrition with quality forage and grain, consistent farrier service, and daily pasture turnout to support their health and muscle development. His breeding program emphasizes gentle handling from an early age, with foals socialized alongside other livestock and visitors to foster curiosity and calmness.

Raised on a family farm, Hostetler values the calm temperament and strength characteristic of Percherons. Several of his horses have earned ribbons at county and regional fairs, reflecting his attention to sound conformation and movement. Visitors often note the horses’ steady disposition and willingness under harness. The stable’s open-air barn and shaded paddocks provide a comfortable environment where horses develop confidence and grace before moving on to new homes.
