Immer Treu German Pinschers

Immer Treu German Pinschers breeds german pinschers on Washington State's Olympic Peninsula, operating out of Carlsborg, about an hour west of Port Angeles and roughly two hours from Seattle.

Lorraine Shore, a past president of the German Pinscher Club of America and president of the Hurricane Ridge Kennel Club, has been active in the breed since 2007 alongside her co-owner Howard. Their program focuses on health, temperament, and conformation, and they breed on a limited basis — only when a litter would allow them to meaningfully improve the breed or add a dog to their own household.

The kennel sits on a large property where the dogs have access to an acre of fenced yard and orchard. All dogs are raised as part of the family and are actively trained and shown in conformation, agility, obedience, rally, nosework, and tracking. The program has produced multiple German Pinscher Club of America National Specialty winners, including Best of Breed in 2011, and CH Immer Treu Royally Chosen "Luna" became the only all-natural german pinscher to win a Working Group in the United States. One Immer Treu german pinscher also made history as the first of the breed to serve in U.S. law enforcement, working over 200 search-and-rescue calls with the Chelan County Sheriff's Office.
