Daveren German Pinschers

Daveren German Pinschers, based in Moriarty, New Mexico, is the AKC preservation breeding program of Jill Eastman, operating out of the open desert plains at the base of the Sandia Mountains, east of Albuquerque. The program centers on breeding German pinschers for purpose and predictability, with an emphasis on structural and mental soundness carried across generations.

All breeding dogs are fully health screened before being used in the program, with testing that covers OFA hips, annual OFA eye evaluations, cardiac assessments, and DNA clearances for vWD, dilute, brown, and DM markers. National Specialty and Westminster Best of Breed wins are among the program's conformation credentials, and a number of Daveren dogs also carry working and performance titles across disciplines including coursing, rally, scent work, and barn hunt.

The program deliberately limits the number of resident breeding dogs to give each animal individual attention at home. Puppies are raised in the house and placed with careful attention to matching each dog with the right family, with preference typically given to households in New Mexico.
