Hot Spotz Bengals is a small in-home cattery run by Julie Pelton in Bay City, Michigan, about 45 minutes north of Saginaw in the Great Lakes region of the state. The program has been active since 2000, making it one of the longer-running bengal cat breeders in Michigan with over two decades of focused selective breeding.

The cattery is triple-registered with TICA, CFA, and REFR, and places strong emphasis on health testing across its breeding cats. Each animal is screened for FIV/FeLV, HCM, PK-Def, PKD1, PRA-b, Giardia, Trichomonas, Coccidiosis, and Chlamydia/Herpes, results of which are published individually for each cat in the program. Kittens leave with age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a vet check, and a health guarantee.

The breeding focus centers on SBT (studbook tradition) pedigreed lines drawn from Regional Win Supreme Grand Champions, Grand Champions, and Gogees bloodlines. Colors produced include brown, silver, snow, and silver snow, with an emphasis on rosetted patterns, glittered pelts, and a strong wild-type appearance. Cats are raised free-roaming inside the home rather than in cages, with handling beginning at birth to support confident, social temperaments. The cattery operates as a closed facility to minimize illness risk, and cats are fed a diet of premium kibble and canned food supplemented with cooked meats.
