Hf breeds Percheron horses in Saranac, MI, Ionia County and west Michigan near Lansing. Jason Hardy and Kate Hardy have worked with Percheron bloodlines for more than a decade, maintain membership in national draft horse associations and participate in educational clinics. Each animal undergoes annual veterinary exams, genetic screenings when applicable and regular farrier visits as part of a comprehensive health program.

Their horses live on a 60-acre farm with open grazing, sturdy barns and daily turnout, and early foal socialization is emphasized to foster steady temperaments. Training blends traditional groundwork and positive reinforcement to build strength and responsiveness for riding, driving and light draft work. A number of their mares have delivered smooth foaling experiences without complications under on-site supervision and careful record keeping. Several graduates of the program have placed at regional fairs and joined equine-assisted therapy projects in nearby communities.
