Greg Vancoevern

Greg Vancoevern is a Percheron horse breeder based in Salina, Kansas, in central Kansas near Wichita. Greg and Joanne have more than twenty years of experience, hold membership in the American Percheron Horse Association, and follow recommended health screening such as annual radiographs for young stallions and routine veterinary exams. Foals are raised on mixed grass pasture, receiving daily handling and early exposure to lead training. Stall and paddock bedding is changed daily and pastures are rotated to maintain soil health.

Socialization begins at birth, with foals introduced to farm equipment sounds and interactions with visitors for a calm temperament. Several of their horses have earned performance awards at regional draft horse shows, reflecting an emphasis on conformation and sound movement. The Vancoeverns maintain records of genetic health tests and share updates through a monthly newsletter. Visits are arranged by appointment to ensure time for each guest and minimal stress for the herd.
