Goshen Farm

Goshen Farm raises ADGA-registered oberhasli dairy goats in Kuna, Idaho, about 20 miles southwest of Boise. Run by Cassie and Asaf Dayan, the farm got its start with a small acreage purchase in 2007 and later expanded to 15 acres in 2011, giving the herd room to grow alongside a supply of home-grown alfalfa hay fed to all the livestock.

The focus of the oberhasli program is dual-purpose: conformation and milk production. The herd participates in DHIR milk testing and shows at the local level, and buck service is available to clean herds. Anyone searching for oberhasli goats for sale in Idaho will find a small, intentional herd rather than a large commercial operation.

Herd health is taken seriously, with CAE and CL testing conducted twice a year. The farm's broader identity is rooted in sustainability, with cheesemaking and other dairy work woven into everyday farm life alongside the goat program.
