Gary Stiemke

Gary Stiemke breeds Percheron horses in Brooklyn, WI, Green County and the Madison area. They have been raising Percheron horses for more than a decade and work with local veterinarians to ensure foals and adult horses undergo routine health evaluations, deworming protocols and hoof care.

Their reputation is built on thoughtful husbandry: mares and foals share spacious pastures during the day and return to comfortable stalls with straw bedding at night. Young horses receive daily handling from weaning onward, including exposure to farm equipment, grooming and ground driving exercises.
