Fine Hill Miniature Americans

Fine Hill Miniature Americans breeds miniature American shepherds on a 28-acre farm in Franklinville, North Carolina, roughly an hour southwest of Greensboro. Kelly Roe started the program in Pennsylvania before relocating the operation to its current North Carolina property, where the dogs have always been part of working farm life.

The program prioritizes sound temperament and clean genetics, with health testing that includes clearances for HC, MDR1, CMR1, PRA-PRCD, CEA, and DM. Puppies are raised in the home, handled daily, and socialized alongside horses, cats, and other farm animals from an early age.

Kelly also actively competes in AKC conformation, owner-handling the program's dogs herself. The show record includes multiple champion titles and Best of Breed wins, and Fine Hill dogs have placed in group competition as well.
