Ferman Wengerd

Ferman Wengerd, Percheron horses, Dalton, OH, serves Wayne County and the Akron area. He has been raising Percherons for more than ten years and participates in draft horse association events, following recommended health testing and temperament guidelines.

His horses live on open pasture with daily turnout and routine handling to foster trust and ease of training. Foals receive early socialization by children and livestock to build a calm temperament. Winter months find the herd sheltered in spacious barns with bedding replaced frequently to maintain clean stalls.
