Family Puppies

Family Puppies has been raising small-breed companion dogs in Nappanee, Indiana since 2006, with french bulldogs, Havanese, and coton de Tulear among the breeds at the heart of the program. Dave Chupp runs the operation on a 40-acre farm in northern Indiana, roughly a short drive from South Bend and about two hours from Chicago.

Puppies are raised inside the family home alongside six children, which the program treats as a deliberate early-socialization strategy rather than incidental contact. The breeding stock draws from AKC-registered parents or AKC bloodlines, and each puppy leaves on a documented deworming and vaccination schedule backed by a one-year health guarantee.

The breed lineup has expanded over the years in response to buyer interest and now includes cocker spaniels, coton de Tulear, french bulldogs, Havanese, Italian greyhounds, Lhasa Apsos, Maltese, and west Highland white terriers, among others.
