Eric S. Aman

Eric S. Aman and Kelly Aman, Percheron horses, are based in Interlaken, NY in the Finger Lakes region near Rochester. They have been breeding Percheron horses for more than twenty years and maintain membership in the American Percheron Horse Association, following recommended health screenings for soundness and temperament. Their horses graze on rotated pastures, receive daily grooming and handling from foalhood, and live in a barn outfitted for draft breeds to ensure comfortable shelter.

Several of their mares and geldings have earned ribbons at regional draft horse competitions and county fairs. Prospective owners note the horses’ steady work ethic and calm disposition, reflecting the breeders’ patient training approach. The family farm’s long history on the shores of Cayuga Lake adds a sense of tradition to their breeding program.

Regular farrier visits and dental exams are scheduled to support each horse’s long-term soundness. The sprawling pastures and access to the lake give each horse room to roam and develop before training begins.
