Emanuel Schwartz

Emanuel Schwartz and Suzie Schwartz breed Percheron horses in Marshfield, MO, Webster County and the Ozarks near Springfield. They have welcomed foals for more than fifteen years under American Percheron Horse Association guidelines, maintain complete breeding records, and pursue annual veterinary health checks and farrier visits.

The herd enjoys daily turnout on pastureland with shelter access and each foal is gently handled to build trust before its first year. Riding, driving and light farm work help develop their strength and calm nature, reflecting a hands-on approach to early training.

Their barn, established by the family over two generations, still uses original timber beams and stone walls for a sense of continuity. Visitors often note the horses’ steady disposition and the care taken to maintain pasture quality through rotational grazing. Their stock is known for steady gaits and reliable work ethic in farm and recreational settings.
