Eddie R. Schwartz

Eddie R. Schwartz is a family-run Percheron horse breeder on a multi-acre farm in Topeka, Indiana, in central Indiana near Indianapolis.

Eddie has been breeding Percheron horses for over a decade and maintains membership in the American Percheron registry. All sires and dams undergo regular veterinary exams and genetic screening to ensure sound structure and calm temperaments. The horses are raised in a pasture-based program with daily handling to foster calm interactions with people of all ages. Foals spend time with broodmares in shaded paddocks to build social bonds and resilience.

They regularly compete in community plowing contests and support equine therapy programs for children with special needs. Many clients note clear guidance and foals that settle quickly into their new homes. Each colt and filly receives individual hoof care and balanced nutrition tailored to its growth stage before leaving the farm.
