Echo Valley Farm

Echo Valley Farm, Tunis sheep, Middleburg, PA, Snyder County and the Susquehanna Valley near Harrisburg. It is dedicated to breeding Tunis sheep with attention to sound structure and wool quality, following more than a decade of experience in small-flock management.

Their breeding stock undergoes regular veterinary health screenings for parasite resistance and fleece assessment. Lambs grow on open pasture with gentle handling from birth, and the flock grazes rotationally to support animal welfare and land health.

Owner Gunner Vargeson brings practical knowledge of sustainable agriculture to each breeding cycle, emphasizing temperament and adaptability. The flock is pasture-raised on gently rolling hills that support rotational grazing and soil health.
