David Christy

David Christy and Susan Christy raise Percheron horses in Titusville, PA, in Crawford County and northwestern Pennsylvania region near Erie. They have been breeding draft horses for more than a decade and participate in the Percheron Horse Association’s health programs.

All breeding stock undergoes regular veterinary exams, farrier care and genetic screening to support sturdy conformation. Horses live in open pasture with run in shelters and join family routines to encourage calm handling and early socialization. Several foals have earned ribbons at regional draft horse shows, reflecting their steady temperament and aptitude for farm work.

The farm runs on family traditions, with every foal named in honor of local landmarks or family heritage. Visitors often remark on the horses’ gentle nature and solid bone structure, a result of careful selection and hands on training from birth. They offer ongoing support to new owners, ensuring each horse transitions smoothly to its new home.
