David B. Fisher breeds Percheron horses in Ronks, PA, Lancaster County and the Susquehanna Valley near Lancaster. He has been working with these draft horses for over a decade and follows guidelines set by the Percheron Horse Association to ensure breed standards and health testing. The family-run Percheron farm includes over 50 acres of rolling fields and mature woodlands, providing a varied environment for growth and conditioning. Foals are raised on open pasture with daily turnout and receive socialization with family members from an early age.

The farm’s barns feature spacious stalls and a paddock system designed to support natural movement and hoof health. David often brings his horses to regional draft horse shows, allowing them to gain experience in driving and pulling events. His approach combines traditional husbandry with regular farrier and veterinary care to maintain soundness and well-being.
