Darrell Vik

Darrell Vik and Pam Vik are Percheron breeders in Beresford, South Dakota, Union County near Sioux Falls.

They have been breeding Percherons for over a decade, maintaining membership in draft horse registries and scheduling routine veterinary checks, health screenings, and conformation evaluations. Their foals grow up in mixed pastures with daily handling, early halter training, and turnout among older horses to encourage confidence and social skills.

The farm occupies land that has supported draft horse breeding for three generations, and it blends traditional farrier and feed practices.
