Clovercreek Cockers

Clovercreek Cockers raises American cocker spaniels in Versailles, Kentucky, a short drive from Lexington in the heart of the Bluegrass region. Owner Tonya Higdon has been actively showing the breed since 1996, and the program reflects decades of hands-on experience with conformation, health, and temperament.

Higdon breeds only AKC champion dogs that have been health tested prior to pairing, following the American Spaniel Club's code of ethics, of which she is a member. Her dogs have earned multiple AKC championships and grand-championships over the years. Litters are kept intentionally small, typically averaging about one per year, with a focus on preserving and improving the breed rather than volume production.

Beyond her own breeding program, Higdon serves as Secretary and Treasurer of the Cocker Spaniel Club of Kentucky, reflecting a broader commitment to the breed at the regional level.
