Charmasson Club Lambs

Charmasson Club Lambs raises Suffolk sheep and show-ready club lambs in Hennessey, Oklahoma, situated in the heart of north-central Oklahoma's grain belt country, roughly 45 miles northwest of Guthrie. Chad and Amy Charmasson have been part of the sheep industry across generations, with roots going back to a grandfather who ran a commercial sheep flock and a career that began raising club lambs as an ag teacher in Elgin, Oklahoma.

The operation has grown to a flock of around 130 ewes that lamb from late December through early April, with a nutrition program built around quality forage and carefully timed supplementation throughout gestation and lactation. Maintaining a clean lambing environment is a noted priority in how the program is managed day to day.

Beyond producing Suffolk sheep for sale in Oklahoma, Charmasson Club Lambs also runs lamb camps and clinics throughout the year, drawing on Chad's background as a former agricultural educator. Those sessions cover feed management, daily care, shearing, clipping, and showmanship development — giving youth exhibitors a foundation that extends well past the sale. Animals from the program have placed and sold at major shows including the National Western Livestock Show.
