Brad Nettles

Brad Nettles, Percheron horses, Duck, WV, serves Hampshire County and the Eastern Panhandle near Martinsburg. Nettles has been breeding percherons for several years and follows the Percheron Horse Association of America’s recommendations for health testing and conformation evaluations. Breeding stock are selected for sound movement, strong bone structure and temperaments suited to both work and leisure.

His mares and stallions are raised on mixed pasture with year-round shelter, with daily handling that encourages calm temperaments and adaptability. Young stock receive early exposure to harness work and groundwork to promote confidence under saddle or in draft applications.
