Betenbaugh Farm

Betenbaugh Farm raises Katahdin sheep in Union, South Carolina, serving the Piedmont region near Charlotte. Donnie Betenbaugh has been breeding Katahdin sheep for more than a decade, maintaining membership in a national breeders association and conducting routine health screenings to support strong genetics. Each flock member lives in well-drained pastures with access to sheltered pens, receiving daily health checks and seasonal vaccinations under veterinary guidance.

Rotational grazing and mixed forage plantings help maintain soil health and encourage natural foraging behavior across the farm’s rolling fields.
