Andy Shetler

Andy Shetler breeds Percheron horses in Pierpoint, Ohio, part of western Ohio near Dayton. She has been raising draft horses for more than a decade and follows American Percheron Horse Association guidelines and regular veterinary health screening. All horses are registered and undergo routine genetic and soundness evaluations to support long-term welfare.

Andy maintains wide pastures and open barns that allow natural social interaction while also providing daily gentle handling for early bonding. Her stock includes several descendants that have performed strongly at county agricultural fairs and small local shows. Visitors appreciate the relaxed atmosphere of the family-run operation and the chance to see horses in a setting modeled on traditional farm practices. Foals spend their first months alongside their dams in shaded paddocks, where they learn herd dynamics and develop strong legs through regular turnout.
