Kenia came to us at 10 weeks old, from a breeder in Chambersburg PA. We have enjoyed staying in touch over the past years. She has had her genetic testing completed, rating an B for Degenerative Myelopathy and an A for Von Willebrand Disease Type 1. As long is she is bred with a male who is clear on DM, her puppies will not be affected! Her bernegard number is: 212766. You will not find much info
on her ancestry though as she is the first of her family to be entered in the database.
She has mothered 4 litters of healthy, pudgy pups. Her mom skills are excellent and she teaches her puppies well, even weaning them completely on her own by 5 weeks. An average weight for Kenia is 95 lbs. and her temperament is always gentle. She’s even a bit of a background character sometimes– a do-my-own-thing dog. Numerous ones of her past pups have therapy training on the horizon. Both her parents are still living. Rocky, her father lives in NJ at age 7.
