Alaine was born right here on Four Caves Farm. Alaine is a full-blooded Highland. Her sire is Ewan of Highland Heritage-an import from Canada whose lines go back to the original Scottish Herd books, and her dam is CP4 (or Cutie Pi) who was bred on Chestnut Ridge Funny Farm-Yes, the very farm that just sent a Highland to live at Busch Gardens. She is what people would call the ultimate Highland calf. She has all the qualities these "bundles of fluff" are known for; with a thick, shaggy black 🖤 coat that also carries the wild-type gene, those oversized eyes, and a colorful and out of control "dossan" accenting her face. All this and "in your pocket" friendly as well. Just as happy with a scratch as a treat!
