Mixed Morph

A mixed morph Tokay gecko is a Tokay gecko whose captive-bred color or pattern background combines more than one morph line, or whose ancestry is not clean enough for a single morph label. Wild-type Tokays are usually blue-gray with orange spotting, while captive lines may include albino, patternless, calico, leucistic, lavender, and other appearances. Mixed morph should not be confused with a locality claim.

Tokay geckos are strong, vocal, arboreal reptiles that need secure vertical enclosures, climbing surfaces, humidity management, and careful handling expectations. Many are defensive compared with softer beginner geckos, so calm maintenance routines matter. Breeders should record pairings and visible traits without overstating genetics, especially because some morph names in the hobby are still used unevenly across collections.

Colors: Albino, Blue, Calico, Lavender, Leucistic, Normal/Wild Type, Patternless, Powder Blue
