Syrian Curled Dewlap

The Syrian curled dewlap is an ornamental domestic pigeon associated with Syrian fancy-pigeon breeding. It combines the dewlap type, recognized by fullness and loose feathering around the throat and crop, with curled or frilled feather texture that gives the bird a more ornate outline. In the loft, this is usually a show and preservation bird rather than a hard-flown kit pigeon.
