Laudino Sevillano Cropper
The Laudino Sevillano cropper is a Spanish pouter from the Seville tradition, connected with the old Iberian culture of cropper pigeons bred for display, courtship, and confident presence. Laudino-type birds are often discussed for head, beak, carriage, crop, and the assertive behavior expected in Spanish thief pouters. It is a regional breed with strong local judging preferences.
Management should give Laudino Sevillano croppers enough space to show themselves without constant fighting or crowd pressure. Breeders need to watch crop strength, breathing comfort, fertility, and character together. Because Spanish pouter names can be confusing to outsiders, buyers should ask for the exact standard used and avoid treating every Sevillian cropper cross as a Laudino.
