Budapest Tumbler Stork-Marked Muffed

The Budapest Tumbler Stork-Marked Muffed is a Hungarian fancy tumbler identified by both pattern and foot feathering. Stork-marked pigeons carry contrasting colored areas in a set arrangement, and muffed birds have feathered feet that change the outline on the perch. The Budapest Tumbler family includes refined exhibition forms, and this label names a very specific variety within that tradition.

These pigeons need careful feather and pattern management. Muffs require dry floors, clean nest bowls, and handling that prevents broken foot feathers before shows. Breeders balance the stork marking with body shape, head quality, fertility, and temperament. Because the name is precise, sales records should note whether birds are truly muffed and stork-marked or merely Budapest-type tumblers with partial markings. Small errors in labeling can confuse breeding plans quickly.
